Kind of an ole timey family owned diner vibe. Parking lot is always full, so ya know it's gotta be good! This was our first ever visit and we were not disappointed. Everything good you read about the food, service, and prices is true. Recommend you give it a try!
Excellent food, favorite of the locals show to us as we arrived on the morning, the parking lot was full and stayed full the whole time we were there. Wife had the waffles with the homemade syrup that was delicious. I had the Sunrise Breakfast special. It is a cheese omelet covered with hashbrowns and their homemade country sausage gravy. This also was delicious. The orange juice was the weak link only because everything else tasted so good I was expecting a fresh squeezed taste. If you are driving an RV don't expect to park in their parking lot, maybe you can park a cross the street.
This is a really excellent small town diner. It’s full of regulars, the service is good, and the food is hot and fresh. I couldn’t resist the Sunrise Special, which is a cheese omelet over hash browns and smothered in sausage gravy. I think there can be a wait for tables but I walked right in and got a seat at the counter.
Nice place great food but the service is so slow, and the place is way too small for the amount of traffic they get. You would think that as long as they have been open, they would have made enough profit to at least expand the restaurant a little.
So they talk about this place as if its the best. It's been here for 54 years of which the manager has been here for 42 of those years. The best service friendly staff and overflowing carpark should be the giveaway of how popular this place is. I have just ordered breakfast, which was a mine field due to the language, but the helpful staff explained biscuits n gravy & other weird stuff to a Brit amazing coffee that never stopped flowing. Service was very slow, but also, I’m from Columbus so my expectations are probably different. The food was great - it was exactly what I expected and was looking for from a local diner. The atmosphere was family - little kids running around and everyone talking to everyone. I enjoyed it.
Great little small town diner. Excellent service. They keep your coffee cup full with HOT coffee ,not a lot of places do that anymore. The food was great as well. Got the combo plate( eggs,home fries, and biscuit and gravy, husband got French toast ,eggs and bacon. They cook the bacon perfectly. Must try if you are in the area.
We came for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. The staff was very friendly and did a great job keeping up with a full house. The food was delicious. You can't go wrong with the Special Combo if you can't decide what you want for breakfast. It's biscuit & gravy, eggs, and hash browns or home fries. Perfect.

Great place for some Down Home Cooking. Just like Mom's food was as a kid. Service was exceptionally friendly and personal.
